Who we are
Dream Care Community Support Ltd is a therapeutic services organization based in Edmonton, Alberta. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through dreamcare.ca.
What we collect
When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), subject, and message. We also receive standard server log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited — used only for security and basic site reliability.
How we use it
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, provide referral or intake information, and follow up as part of service planning. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing lists.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with staff who need it to respond to you, and with the service providers that help run our website (for example, our email and hosting providers) under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information where required by law — for example, a court order or child-protection reporting duty.
How we store it
Submissions are stored on secure, access-controlled systems. We keep information only as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, then securely delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. To make a request, contact us using the details on our Contact page.
Cookies and analytics
Our site uses only the cookies needed to remember basic preferences. We don't use advertising trackers. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, we'll update this policy.
Children
Our services support children and youth (ages 4–24), but this website is intended for use by caregivers, caseworkers, family, and service partners. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children through the site.
Governing law
This policy is governed by Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the 'last updated' date above and note significant changes on this page.
